TVT and Enotria have a great deal to celebrate in 2022. Not only are Enotria celebrating 50 years of being in business this year, but TVT is also proud to be marking 20 years of a successful working relationship with Enotria, supplying their drinks industry-specific ERP software.
Enotria is the UK’s leading wine and spirits distributor. As the UK’s only distributor to service all channels of the drinks industry, their expertise spans national and regional on-trade, off-trade, and direct-to-consumer channels. Established in 1972 by Remo Nardone as an Italian wine specialist, Enotria has grown into a multi-million-pound business employing around 300 people across the UK.
TVT’s relationship with Enotria began in 2002 when they were selected to implement NAV (the older version of Dynamics 365 Business Central) into the business as their replacement ERP. At the time, Claudio Martell, Bevica’s Product Director, was working for Enotria and was responsible for the project management of the successful NAV implementation. The lessons Claudio and TVision learnt during this implementation eventually led to the development of the Wine System, followed by Bevica, TVT’s dedicated ERP solution for the drinks industry.
Since their initial implementation of NAV 20 years ago, Enotria’s relationship with the product and TVT has grown and deepened. The business is now using Bevica, which was built on the strong foundations of NAV, to drive the business’s finance and operational capabilities. Sitting at the core of their business, Bevica is seamlessly integrated into the vast range of business management applications used by Enotria. These include Tasklet Factory (the business’s warehouse management system), Paragon for route planning, AGR stock forecasting software and their OCR-driven business automation software applications, Continia Document Capture and Esker.
Speaking about Enotria’s relationship with TVT, Zoe Cottrell, then Head of Business Solutions at E&C said: “The relationship between TVTand Enotria is an excellent one. They have been our trusted adviser since the beginning. Any proposed changes have been thoroughly discussed. We have always valued and respected the advice they have given, even when they have challenged our preconceptions of what we need to do. This is not a 20-year business relationship between TVT and Enotria and, but a 20-year partnership!”
Claudio Martell, Bevica’s Product Director at TVT, added: “Congratulations to Enotria&Coe on their 50-year anniversary in the ever-growing UK wine industry. It has been a real pleasure working first for them and then with them on improving their business processes. I am very proud to have been part of the team that successfully implemented NAV into their business. The lessons I learnt while doing this and then embedding NAV at Enotria have been invaluable in helping VTT create and develop the Bevica drinks ERP solution that we continue to implement into other successful drinks businesses today.”
